College 411, a Verona-based college application counseling service, will hold two complimentary educational seminars in August at the Verona Public Library.
The seminars will be held on Tuesdays August 2 and August 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and are open to all high school students and their parents. College 411 was founded by Allison Wright, a Verona High School graduate, who spent more than two decades leading the human resources departments of major corporations in New York City.
College 411 will cover:
- Choosing the right schools: The 5 components of FIT
- Standardized tests: ACT vs. SAT
- Financial aid basics: Learn where and how to look for student aid
- The application process: What really matters in college admissions
