The Verona High School Marching Maroon and White travelled to Montville last night for the Mustang Classic Band Festival. The marching band lost to Elizabeth High School by just 2.1 points, but won best music and best guard in their class.
The band will be competing at Ridge School next Saturday night, their last event before the championships at Rutgers. This year’s show is “Romeo and Juliet” and combines music from Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev.
